Notary Fees & Pricing

• Notarial Acts — $5 per notarial act

• Walterboro Mobile/Travel Fee — $20

• Surrounding Areas Mobile/Travel Fee — Starting at $25, based on distance

• Weekend Appointment — Additional $10

• After-Hours Appointment — Additional $15

• Hospital & Care Facility Visit — Starting at $30

• Extended Waiting Time — $10 per 15 minutes after the first 15 minutes

• Bilingual Service — English & Español — No Additional Charge

Please note:  Mobile/travel, weekend, after-hours, hospital/care facility, and waiting-time fees are separate from notarial fees.  All applicable fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before the appointment.

Mobile/travel fees may vary based on distance, location, and appointment circumstances. The total fee will be confirmed before your appointment.

Before Your Appointment

• Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. 

• Please do not sign documents in advance when your signature must be witnessed by the Notary. 

• All individuals whose signatures require notarization must be present and have acceptable identification. 

• If your document does not specify the required notarial act, the Notary cannot choose one for you or provide legal advice.
